HOI AN, VIET NAM – 22 January 2026 – Wafaifo Resort Hoi An today announced a series of senior management promotions, strengthening its leadership team as the resort enters its next phase of growth. The appointments reaffirm Wafaifo’s long-term commitment to nurturing local Hoi An hospitality talent while building a sustainable and authentic resort operation.
All four promotions recognise professionals who were born and raised in Hoi An and have developed their careers within the region’s hospitality industry. Their advancement into senior leadership roles reflects Wafaifo’s belief that deep local understanding, cultural insight, and long-term people development are central to delivering meaningful guest experiences.
Leadership Promotions
Tang Hoang Duc has been promoted to Hotel Manager, bringing extensive experience across leading international hospitality brands. Before joining Wafaifo, Mr. Duc held senior operational roles with Anantara in both Hoi An and Quy Nhon, as well as a leadership position with TUI Blue. His strong background in resort operations and service excellence positions him to lead Wafaifo’s day-to-day hotel performance as the resort continues to expand its offerings and elevate guest experiences.
Nguyen Thi Kim Hang has been promoted to Director of Talent, overseeing all people, culture, and talent development initiatives across the resort. Alongside her core responsibilities, Ms. Hang will play a key supporting role in the upcoming launch of Revolution Express, a new experiential tourism venture scheduled to debut in mid-2026, further reinforcing Wafaifo’s focus on innovation and people-led growth.
Tran Minh Hau has been appointed Executive Chef, recognising his leadership of the culinary team and his deep roots in Hoi An’s vibrant food and hospitality scene. Chef Hau brings extensive experience from some of the destination’s most respected resorts and restaurants, blending local culinary heritage with refined operational standards to shape Wafaifo’s evolving food and beverage identity.
Tran Thi Thuy Van has been promoted to Revenue Manager, assuming responsibility for driving the resort’s overall revenue strategy across accommodation and ancillary revenue streams. Her appointment reflects Wafaifo’s increasing focus on data-driven performance, demand optimisation, and long-term commercial sustainability.
